Когда население освоится в серой зоне достаточно, через пару-тройку лет, следующий шажок будет - поголовная эвтаназия для тех стариков и старушек, у которых некому их активно защищать, вообще не спрашивая их мнения. Просто "мы проведём процедуру, и you will be at peace" - и привет. Собственно, уже почти так - процедура как бы есть, но её контролируют полностью те же люди, что осуществляют эвтаназию, т.е. у них всегда всё сходится.
Дальше что? Принудительная эвтаназия для всех после 80? Только для тех, кто слишком дорого стоит системе здравоохранения? Только для тех, кто не может позволить себе дорогого адвоката или сбежать в США? Снижение возраста до нуля (там уже это будет считаться абортом)? Уверен, что ужасные чудеса всё ещё впереди. Дна нет.
Что тут характерно - все эти дискуссии о том, что будет и чего не будет при введении эвтаназии сейчас совершенно не нужны. Не надо теоретизировать о slippery slope и абьюзе и что может и не может система - надо просто почитать канадские новости. Почитать год назад, почитать сейчас, почитать через год и т.п. И всё станет ясно.
